1. The Structural Claim
The prosperity gospel is the cleanest instance of the proverb that names this section: the devil quoting scripture. It is built entirely of real scripture, deploys the genuine principle that orientation reorganizes a life, and inverts a single term — relocating the treasury from H₁ to H₄₈, from heaven to the bank. It is the inverted-treasure counterfeit in its native theological habitat, reading the exact passage the Postscript rests on and reading it backward.
2. The Genuine Signal
The signal is real and must be granted. Faith does reorganize a life: the being whose orientation turns toward the source genuinely catches, and the catching genuinely bears fruit in the H₄₈ world — steadier conduct, released anxiety, the capacity to give. “Give, and it will be given to you” is a true statement about the catching economy: the open hand is the posture of a being not owned by its accumulations. Generosity is a real catching practice; gratitude is a real one; the expectation that orientation toward God changes things is not superstition but the eigenvalue-investment principle of Paper 5 stated devotionally. The movement’s pastoral power is not fraudulent at the root — it is drawing on something that works.
3. The Decisive Inversion
Then the term is switched. “Treasures in heaven” — Φ-proximal accumulation at H₁, the higher being body that survives Time — is read as treasures on earth: the house, the jet, the healed body, the multiplied check. The Postscript’s text is the exact reversal. Do not store up treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy… but store up treasures in heaven… for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:19–21). The prosperity gospel keeps “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” — the orientation principle — and inverts the location, aiming the heart at exactly the H₄₈ accumulations the passage names as the things Time (“moth and rust”) will dissolve. Seed-faith giving completes the inversion: the open hand, a genuine catching posture, is re-instrumentalized as a deposit expecting an H₄₈ return. The framework’s verdict is not that wealth is evil — H₄₈ is a real level — but that the treasury has been moved to the one place the source explicitly said it cannot be kept.
4. The Fruit
By its fruit (Face D1): the teaching orients the catching being toward noise-floor accumulation under the language of faith — down the cascade, in the name of heaven. Its cruelty is the structural tell. If faith produces wealth and health, then the poor and the sick have insufficient faith; the inversion necessarily manufactures contempt for those it fails, exactly as the inverted-agape counterfeits do. This is the diagnostic signature of a counterfeit running on a real signal: it works often enough to be believed, and it shames precisely those whom the genuine gospel came for. Catch the open hand and the reorganizing faith; refuse the relocation of the treasury.
